the german ministry of foreign affairs had 2 different radio services; one for the diplomatic point-to-point radiocommunications between the MFA and german embassies in distant countries, and one for diplomatic and general presscasts to the many embassies or other institutions in a certain region. transmissions were made via many transmitter sites, longwave was Mainflingen near Frankfurt, shortwave via DBP stations Frankfurt and Hamburg. Also used was a relay from PTT Singapore.

 


here they are transmitting very important sports news to the embassies (rb, 1994) mode used: FEC-A-96, also known as FEC-100
