Sometimes the numbers are different from the presumed location, these may be mistakes in my database, or the number refers to the administrative seat of a station. My aim would be to have the correct number for the state where the transmitter is located. So there will be some changes from time to time. Station numbers are formed like this - where # means a number 0...9 : D-#### (D-1000 ... D-9999) utility stations D-B### (D-B100 ... D-B999) broadcast stations D-BC## (D-BC10 ... D-BC99) broadcast stations D-BT## (D-BT10 ... D-BT99) television stations D-FM## (D-FM10 ... D-FM99) broadcast stations (FM only) D-F### (D-F100 ... D-F999) broadcast stations (FM only) D-T### (D-T200 ... D-T899) transmitter sites (used by more than 1 station) The first 2 numbers designate the state of origin.
