Deutscher Wetterdienst Offenbach Meteo :

this recording from 1994 reveals the test picture from the longwave weather fax service on DCF54 from Mainflingen (rb) (watch out - more than 6 minutes to go!)
just in case you have no decoder at hand ;-) (seems that I need to make some adjustments at mine...) (someone to decode this clip in better quality? my high-class equipment is long-time gone...) (rb)
in 2017, Paul J Marsh decoded this mp3-soundclip from above with this result!

Joop Balneger received this friendly letter in 1985
for a short period, german meteo stations had a shortwave net throughout the country. Lars Lundström received it in 1999.
a letter from 2004 from the Offenbach headquarters of German Meteo Service, verifying the shortwave transmissions from Hamburg Meteo (Vladimir Rozhkov)
